What you'll do

Execute the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, database design, testing, and deployment.
Build AI-infused applications and Agentic Solutions to enhance user experience and productivity.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions following established engineering best practices.
Design and implement application components that align with architectural standards and security requirements.
Maintain production reliability through monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, and automated recovery processes.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization to drive technical innovation.
Provide accurate cost and effort estimates during sprint, quarterly, and semester planning sessions.
Perform root cause analysis and lead incident mitigation to improve platform performance and scalability.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
U.S. citizenship is required to meet legal restrictions for government agency customers.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check and other required security screenings.
3+ years of experience building commercial software products and services.
3+ years of experience in cloud development principles, microservices architecture, and DevOps models.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, REST APIs, and various database systems like Azure SQL or Cosmos DB.
Experience with Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and AI development tools like GitHub Copilot.
