Senior Principal Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle including requirement gathering, architecture design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Build AI-infused applications and agentic solutions to enhance user experience and productivity.
• Design resilient system architectures that adhere to security by design and high-performance standards.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and provide technical feedback to promote skill growth.
• Establish and enforce best practices for automated testing, documentation, and code quality.
• Maintain production reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident mitigation, and root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization across the engineering team.
• Provide accurate cost and effort estimates while managing project timelines and risks in an agile environment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or equivalent).
• 6+ years of experience building commercial software and a proven track record of shipping successful products (preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in cloud development principles, microservices, and DevOps models (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical and architectural dependencies (preferred).
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, Microservices, REST APIs, React, or TypeScript (preferred).
• Experience building applications with ASP.NET, Azure AI technologies, and integrating AI/ML concepts into agent workflows (preferred).
• Experience with Azure PaaS services, DevOps tooling, Power Platform, D365, and working in agile teams (preferred).
