What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software solutions across user interfaces, APIs, services, and data stores.
  • Translate product and business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Write high-quality code using automated testing, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, and observability practices.
  • Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements to increase service reliability and performance.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and create technical documentation for operational readiness and engineering standards.
  • Build out a resilient support-continuity solution to improve customer and business workflows.
  • Perform ongoing engineering maintenance and participate in business continuity and disaster recovery drills.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience (preferred).
  • Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications across front-end, APIs, back-end systems, databases, cloud platforms, and integrations (preferred).
  • Experience with software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, debugging, testing, source control, and service architecture (preferred).
  • Experience with Azure, distributed systems, service reliability, security, performance optimization, telemetry, monitoring, CI/CD, and DevOps practices (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development, copilots, machine learning services, prompt engineering, and responsible AI (preferred).
  • Collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and learning agility in ambiguous, cross-functional environments (preferred).
