What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Lead a team of mid-level to senior developers in software development.
Build secure, high-performing API services using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
Define API contracts and technical documentation using OpenAPI and Swagger.
Integrate APIs with databases and third-party services.
Implement authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
Conduct code reviews and enforce established API standards.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and assist with CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
Strong experience in API development using Java 8/17/21, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
Proven experience building RESTful APIs and knowledge of API security and lifecycle management.
Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Exposure to Kubernetes (preferred).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
