As a Lead Software Engineer - Java, Spring Boot, you will join the Corporate Sector, Identity & Access Management team to build and deliver secure, scalable technology products. Required skills include Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and MS SQL Server. You must also possess experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and relational database data modeling.

What you'll do

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for complex business functions.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Create secure production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.
Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software code meets all design constraints.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant, and responsible use of AI within delivery practices.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
8+ years of software development experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards for outputs.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architectures.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, and source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
Proficiency in designing and implementing data models for relational databases, specifically MS SQL Server, and experience with Cloud platforms (preferred).
