What you'll do

Design and build developer-facing services and tools to improve the Fabric inner loop and local development environments.
Develop pull request validation and test infrastructure to improve pipeline speed and reliability.
Build end-to-end validation environments and automated provisioning systems for rapid, safe deployments.
Implement deployment services featuring progressive rollout, health gating, and automated rollback capabilities.
Create data and reporting systems to measure delivery performance using DORA metrics.
Write extensible, well-tested C# code while participating in peer code reviews for security and compliance.
Design and build scalable, multi-tenant backend services and APIs used by other engineering teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of coding experience is acceptable.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of technical engineering experience (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of technical engineering experience (preferred).
Experience developing engineering systems as software products, such as CI/CD systems, test infrastructure, or developer productivity tooling (preferred).
Experience designing and building services and APIs used by other engineering teams (preferred).
Experience with distributed systems technologies like Azure Service Fabric, Kubernetes, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, or Redis (preferred).
