What you'll do

Build and maintain highly reliable distributed environments for rapid deployment and end-to-end verification.
Design and develop engineering systems and infrastructure using new technologies and AI.
Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple teams to identify root causes and resolve them.
Maintain efficient engineering systems and services to support internal stakeholders and development teams.
Partner with stakeholders to define product requirements and create technical designs for future capabilities.
Produce extensible, maintainable code focused on security, reliability, diagnosability, and performance.
Lead design discussions and take ownership of architectural decisions for the team.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure continuous service health.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or equivalent).
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
Experience working on infrastructure, engineering systems, and deployments for large-scale enterprise-class distributed systems software (preferred).
Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple teams to maintain reliable infrastructure services (preferred).
Proven track record of delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performing end-to-end solutions (preferred).
Hands-on experience developing and managing scalable cloud services across Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred).
