What you'll do

Design, build, and operate distributed services and microservices on Azure platforms like AKS, Functions, and Cosmos DB.
Own features end-to-end from initial requirements and design through implementation, testing, and live-site support.
Integrate AI capabilities such as natural language processing and semantic search using frameworks like Azure OpenAI or Semantic Kernel.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency using telemetry, asynchronous I/O, and system profiling.
Ensure data validation, schema enforcement, and compliance with privacy and security standards.
Participate in an on-call rotation to investigate live-site incidents and implement root-cause fixes.
Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and safe deployment protocols.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Proficiency in designing and operating distributed services and microservices on Azure platforms like AKS, Functions, and Cosmos DB.
Experience integrating AI capabilities using frameworks like Azure OpenAI or Semantic Kernel.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and infrastructure-as-code.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput data pipelines.
Experience designing REST APIs and working with relational or NoSQL data stores.
