Software Engineer, Commercial Technologies (Specialty Networks)

What you'll do

• Design and implement full-stack functionality across web applications from the API and data layer to the user interface.
• Build user-facing features including interactive dashboards, workflow tools, and data-rich interfaces.
• Design configurable, data-driven feature logic to allow product behavior adaptation without code changes.
• Integrate AI-assisted capabilities that provide explainable and traceable results.
• Author reusable UI components and build or consume RESTful APIs and serverless functions.
• Provide technical direction to a small team by breaking down work into clear tasks and reviewing code.
• Write secure, privacy-conscious code that complies with HIPAA obligations and application-security standards.
• Assist with software releases and build and release automation.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be located in Ohio.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• 7+ years of full-stack software development with C# and a modern component-based JavaScript framework (preferred).
• Expert-level C# with ASP.NET Core, and expert-level Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid Entity Framework Core and SQL Server skills, including hand-written SQL for performance.
• Hands-on experience building and operating applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience leading projects technically and guiding the work of other engineers as a technical lead.
