As an SoC Physical Design Engineer, Electrical Analysis, you will join the physical design team to drive electrical analysis and verification of a System on Chip. Your daily responsibilities include performing various electrical analyses at the block or chip level, specifically focusing on Static/Dynamic IR, EM, Noise, and Signal EM. You will collaborate with CAD and technology teams for flow bring up and validation while working with the implementation team throughout the design cycle to achieve sign-off closure for tape-out. The role requires expertise in computer architecture, circuit design, and low power techniques. You will utilize industrial EDA backend verification tools such as Redhawk, PrimeRail/Voltus, and PrimeTime/Tempus. Additionally, you will use scripting skills to automate and debug verification flows while managing schedules and supporting cross-functional engineering efforts for successful chip tape-outs.
