As a SoC Machine Learning Design Engineer, you will join the SoC design machine learning team to develop generative AI and machine learning solutions that optimize efficiency, quality, and speed for the chip-design process. Your work focuses on solving complex chip-design problems by integrating advanced machine learning techniques into front-end flows, including static timing analysis and UVM testbenches, to improve overall productivity across the SoC design lifecycle.

What you'll do

Develop generative AI and machine learning solutions to optimize RTL design, verification, and power/performance/area efforts.
Implement machine learning methodologies to improve productivity across various SoC design functions from design to validation.
Optimize chip-design processes for improved efficiency, quality, and speed using advanced machine learning techniques.
Tailor specific machine learning solutions to meet the domain-specific needs of internal multi-functional teams.
Monitor and integrate emerging technologies in machine learning and chip design to maintain state-of-the-art standards.
Build and implement RAG systems including embedding models, retrieval strategies, and context optimization techniques.
Design test suites and implement human evaluation frameworks for AI model testing and evaluation.

What we're looking for

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Practical knowledge of generative AI and modern machine learning methods.
Experience with RAG systems, including embedding models, retrieval strategies, and context optimization.
Proficiency in developing generative AI pipelines and implementing human evaluation frameworks for AI testing.
Experience with deep neural networks and reinforcement learning is a plus.
Solid math background with an understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or MLX.
Experience with hardware description languages like Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
