TL;DR · Silicon Validation Software Engineer, GPU IP Validation and Integration

Silicon Validation Software Engineer- GPU IP Validation and Integration will join the Silicon Technologies group to develop graphics validation software and integrate it into system level test environments. The role involves writing shaders to stress the GPU and create high bandwidth traffic to and from the memory subsystem. You will apply deep knowledge of GPU architecture to write tests that exercise the interaction between the GPU and different IP blocks on the SoC. Key responsibilities include using driver and firmware APIs to compile shaders, debugging SoC software and hardware issues, and performing system level validation. Required skills include C/C++ programming, Python, and GNU Make. Candidates should possess experience with Graphics, OpenGL, CUDA, image processing, compilers, and ML/LLM workloads for GPU characterization.

What you'll do

  • Write shaders to stress the GPU and generate high bandwidth traffic to the memory subsystem.
  • Develop tests that stress the GPU pipeline and exercise interactions between the GPU and other SoC IP blocks.
  • Use driver and firmware APIs to compile shaders and move data using GPU threads and SIMD groups.
  • Debug SoC software and hardware issues during system-level validation.
  • Implement and run ML/LLM workloads for GPU characterization.
  • Integrate graphics validation software into system-level test environments.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or a related field.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills (preferred).
  • Proficient in Python and GNU Make (preferred).
  • Experienced with Graphics, OpenGL, and CUDA (preferred).
  • Understanding of GPU pipeline, graphics theory, and SoC architectures (preferred).
  • Experienced with image processing, memory hierarchies, and compilers (preferred).
  • Ability to implement and run ML/LLM workloads for GPU characterization (preferred).
