Senior ERP and Scheduling Specialist

What you'll do

• Generate long-range material signals and purchase requisitions based on Engineering Bills of Material and production schedules.
• Identify material constraints and manage critical shortage escalation processes to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for material availability, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Manage the full lifecycle of manufacturing work orders by adjusting priorities based on real-time capacity and material availability.
• Maintain serialized parts and material traceability in compliance with QMS, defense, and HazMat standards.
• Own and maintain MRP logic, including lead times and reorder points, within the ERP system.
• Develop systemic solutions and provide training to internal teams regarding ERP and MRP functionality.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Material Planning and/or Supply Planning.
• A technical degree or academic coursework in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience utilizing AI-driven data tools to track material requirements, inventory health, and scheduling metrics.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems including knowledge of Capacity Planning, JIT, Kanban, and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Experience managing government-furnished material under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines.
• Extensive experience creating, managing, and optimizing purchase requisitions.
• Experience working within AS9100 quality systems and applying Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
