ServiceNow Configuration Manager, Mid

What you'll do

• Maintain and enforce CMDB data governance policies, naming standards, and lifecycle states.
• Monitor and improve CMDB health metrics including completeness, compliance, and accuracy using ServiceNow dashboards.
• Investigate and remediate data quality defects by identifying and fixing root causes at the source.
• Align CI classes and relationships to the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Coordinate and validate CI population through ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration sets.
• Reconcile authoritative data from multiple sources into a single trusted configuration record.
• Support the Configuration Control Board by preparing baselines and documenting configuration changes.
• Provide accurate CI and dependency data to support audit, inventory, and compliance reporting.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ years of experience in IT are required.
• 2+ years of experience working directly with the ServiceNow CMDB are required.
• Experience applying CSDM to model business services, application services, and supporting infrastructure is required.
• Experience leading change and configuration management, CCB activities, CI baselines, and impact analysis is required.
• Experience with on-premises or air-gapped ServiceNow deployments is required.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB fundamentals, including CI classes, relationships, IRE, CMDB Health, and Discovery is required.
• Experience with ITAM, SAM, and HAM, and the relationship between assets and CIs (preferred).
• Knowledge of the CS DM and service mapping concepts (preferred).
• Possession of strong analytical skills for data quality investigation and remediation (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (preferred).
• ServiceNow Certifications such as CSA, CIS-Discovery, or CIS-ITOM Certification (preferred).
