What you'll do

Own the end-to-end technical program strategy for DTD payload embedded software from architecture and design through deployment.
Drive programs through integration and qualification testing to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and schedule requirements.
Develop mechanisms and processes to connect engineering teams with business units, software vendors, and partners.
Lead cross-functional teams across business development, communication systems, software engineering, manufacturing, and production operations.
Create and maintain program plans to track milestones for feature development, design reviews, and network readiness.
Identify technical and programmatic risks and develop mitigation strategies while communicating status updates to stakeholders.
Manage the transition from early development to large-scale production of DTD satellites and core networks.
Oversee performance, reliability, and test automation for payload embedded software.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
Experience with embedded software development and hardware-software integration.
Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs.
Hands-on experience with real-time embedded software development, integration, and verification.
Ability to manage projects in an agile environment while navigating ambiguity and prioritizing needs.
