Senior Technical Consultant

What you'll do

• Perform hands-on technical design, configuration, and troubleshooting of the Okta service for customers.
• Manage multiple concurrent customer deployment projects including scope, schedule, status, and documentation.
• Gather, analyze, and document post-sales requirements to provide tailored consulting services.
• Implement identity federation and access control models using protocols like SAML 2.0, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Develop custom integrations using software development skills in languages such as Java, Ruby, .Net, or PHP.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve escalated issues and drive product improvements.
• Mentor and train customers on the platform while providing guidance to less experienced team members.
• Improve delivery processes and maintain a knowledge repository for standard deployment methodologies.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• You must have at least 5 years of experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
• Experience with software development in languages such as Java, Ruby, .Net, PHP, and REST/JSON is required.
• Experience with JavaScript and one major MVC framework like Backbone, Angular, Ember, or React is required.
• Knowledge of enterprise identity lifecycle management processes and standards is required.
• General knowledge of cloud architectures and complex enterprise on-premise IT landscapes is required.
• Familiarity with API management using Mulesoft, Axway, or Apigee is preferred.
• Experience with SaaS platforms like Salesforce, Box, Office 365, and Workday is preferred.
