As the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, RMS, you will lead the recruiting engine for the Rocket Motor Systems team, managing a team of recruiters to scale production, manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain functions. You will own the end-to-end hiring strategy by forecasting demand with leadership, building talent maps, and utilizing data-driven metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve processes. The role requires expertise in sourcing techniques such as Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, referral programs, and SOBO campaigns. You will navigate a complex technical landscape involving propulsion, energetics, pyrotechnics, and production operations while ensuring compliance with ITAR policies. This position focuses on solving the challenge of rapidly scaling manufacturing capabilities for defense technology by building measurable, repeatable recruiting pipelines to secure high-caliber talent in specialized aerospace and defense disciplines.
Manage and develop a team of recruiters supporting production, manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain functions.
Own the end-to-end hiring strategy by forecasting demand with leaders and building candidate pipelines.
Analyze recruiting data and funnel metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Establish high performance standards for the recruiting team regarding sourcing activity, pipeline velocity, and offer acceptance.
Act as a subject matter expert in sourcing tools and techniques to coach the recruiting team.
Conduct interviews and calibrate hiring manager expectations to ensure high interview-to-offer conversion rates.
Build talent maps and market intelligence specific to propulsion, energetics, pyrotechnics, and production operations.
Partner with HR and compensation teams to align recruitment with headcount plans and offer competitiveness.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
10+ years of high-volume talent acquisition experience evaluating and hiring top-tier technical talent.
8+ years partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders using data to influence hiring decisions.
5+ years managing or mentoring a team of recruiters for time-sensitive, high-volume pipelines.
Proven track record of using recruiting analytics to initiate and sustain process improvements.
Experience in agency or fast-paced startup environments hiring for hardware, production, manufacturing engineering, or related technical roles.
Ability to travel between sites as needed.
Experience standing up a talent acquisition function for greenfield or rapidly scaling manufacturing sites (preferred); knowledge of ITAR policies (preferred).
