Senior System Engineer, ModSim, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE)

What you'll do

• Red-team designs, models, and analyses across various programs.
• Build models and simulations to prove or break specific technical claims.
• Write and own systems-level requirements for complex defense systems.
• Develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts including activity and use case diagrams.
• Perform requirements analysis and system design within a government context.
• Communicate complex results and data visualizations to engineers and leadership.
• Support program management and mission software engineering through systems engineering expertise.

What we're looking for

• Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a similar engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience across the life cycle.
• Experience with MODSIM environments like AFSIM or JSE and understanding of their interfaces and behaviors.
• Experience with requirements analysis, system design, and requirements management in a government context.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar modeling languages and tools like Cameo MagicDraw.
• Experience developing model-based systems engineering artifacts such as activity diagrams, use case diagrams, and parametric diagrams.
• Proficiency with physics-math scripting in MATLAB, Simulink, or Python (preferred).
