Senior Open Architecture Systems Engineer, Mission Systems

What you'll do

• Interface with internal programs and external government customers to provide systems engineering and mission systems integration.
• Develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts to support product development, delivery, and sustainment.
• Create and maintain systems engineering artifacts to build a deep understanding of autonomy, simulation, and perception products.
• Ensure all model artifacts are complete, accurate, and meet specific contractual deliverables.
• Demonstrate developed artifacts during stakeholder meetings and events.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the company's Digital and Systems Engineering Strategy.
• Perform requirements analysis and management for complex defense and space systems.

What we're looking for

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a similar engineering or technical field.
• 7+ years of Systems Engineering experience across the life cycle.
• Experience with requirements analysis, system design, and integration for complex government systems like DoD weapon or space systems.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar modeling languages.
• Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software like Rhapsody or SparxEA.
• Experience developing model-based systems engineering artifacts such as activity diagrams, use case diagrams, and parametric diagrams.
• Currently possesses an active U.S. Secret security clearance and is eligible to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) Certification (preferred).
