Senior Technical Specialist - HW/SW

What you'll do

• Serve as the system architect interface between hardware design teams and software teams to lead production execution.
• Lead the development and release of software content aligned with program milestones for the SDV 2.0 Aggregator.
• Interpret hardware and software requirements across all project phases including design, validation, and key program deliverables.
• Lead hardware/software integration troubleshooting at internal labs, factories, and external supplier locations.
• Prepare and coordinate software timing plans to ensure all program requirements and MRD dates are met.
• Author and approve Engineering Change Requests to release software and maintain functional component specifications.
• Coordinate diagnostic development, integration, and testing for Aggregator and Extender functions.
• Support sourcing activities for infrastructure and software elements in partnership with the Purchasing department.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience applying microprocessor-based controllers to automotive vehicle electrical systems.
• Foundational understanding of software development, hardware/software co-design, and verification/validation processes.
• Demonstrated technical and professional skills in a job-related area with excellent complex problem-solving skills.
• High level of oral and written communication skills.
• Strong program management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to milestones.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functions and resolve priority conflicts.
• Master’s degree in Hardware, Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (preferred).
