As a Senior Staff Engineer, GPU Design Verification (Subsystems), you will join the GPU Design Verification team to shape the verification of next-generation mobile GPU subsystems. You will also drive complex debug processes and collaborate with architecture and design teams to resolve issues across multiple interfaces and data paths. The role requires expertise in computer architecture and GPU subsystem design, utilizing tools like Python and Perl. This position focuses on the technical challenge of ensuring high-performance mobile graphics functionality within a multi-block integrated system environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop comprehensive verification plans, goals, coverage metrics, and sign-off criteria for GPU subsystems.
  • Architect and implement scalable verification testbenches using SystemVerilog, UVM, and C++.
  • Execute constrained-random testing, coverage-driven verification, and assertion-based techniques to validate complex behaviors.
  • Create targeted test scenarios to stress interactions across multiple blocks, interfaces, and data paths.
  • Drive complex debug processes by identifying root causes for failures spanning multiple blocks within a subsystem.
  • Advance verification methodologies, tools, and automation to improve overall efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor engineers and promote a culture of ownership and innovation within the team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 10+ years of experience, Master's with 8+ years, or Ph.D. with 6+ years.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in GPU, CPU, or advanced semiconductor design verification.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and GPU subsystem design including block-level and subsystem-level integration.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM, including constrained-random testing, functional coverage, and assertions.
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python, Perl, or equivalent languages.
  • Proven track record of achieving multiple first-pass silicon successes.
  • Experience building configurable UVM testbenches for reuse across design hierarchies.
  • Authorization to access information subject to U.S. export control laws.
