What you'll do

  • Execute block and subsystem level formal verification for next-generation mobile GPUs.
  • Define verification goals, properties, coverage objectives, and sign-off criteria for critical GPU features.
  • Architect and implement formal verification environments using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Develop assertions and formal models to validate complex graphics and compute behaviors.
  • Verify corner cases, state-space behaviors, and safety properties using formal techniques.
  • Analyze formal failures and trace counterexamples to perform root-cause resolution.
  • Apply techniques like proof depth, bug hunting, and convergence analysis to achieve verification closure.
  • Maintain documentation including formal verification test plans, convergence reports, and complexity analysis.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 5+ years of experience, Master’s with 3+ years, or Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in GPU, CPU, or advanced semiconductor design verification with a focus on formal verification.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture and graphics pipelines.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Perl, C/C++, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
  • Working knowledge of formal verification methodologies including property verification, model checking, and coverage analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard formal verification EDA tools and methodologies.
  • Applicants must be authorized to access information subject to U.S. export control laws.
