As a GPU Design Verification Engineer within the Silicon Technologies group, you will perform pre-silicon RTL verification of sub-units in the Apple GPU. You will be responsible for authoring test plans for block level functionality, architecting and developing complex verification software components, and collaborating with design team members to debug and close blocks ranging from individual sub-blocks to large subsystems. This role requires a deep understanding of micro-architectural details within the broader GPU design. To succeed, you must possess skills in Hardware Description Languages like Verilog or SystemVerilog, as well as Object Oriented Programming languages and Data Structures. Preferred qualifications include experience with HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and scripting in Perl, Ruby, or Shell. The role focuses on solving hardware architecture challenges to ensure high-performance, power-efficient processor and system-on-chip functionality.
