The Senior Specialist, Systems Test Engineer will join the EMC-F team to support system-level integration, verification, troubleshooting, qualification, and compliance for complex electronic and communications systems. This role involves interpreting customer requirements to develop executable verification plans, test procedures, and compliance matrices across the product lifecycle. You will coordinate laboratory activities, investigate technical issues related to interference, grounding, shielding, and cabling, and provide technical input for design reviews and root-cause investigations. Key competencies include experience with electromagnetic compatibility principles, RF, signal integrity, and hardware implementation. You will work across cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and ensure technical readiness for military, aerospace, or telecom products. The position requires a technical degree or extensive experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Support system integration, verification, troubleshooting, qualification, production, and sustainment activities across multiple programs.
Translate customer and system requirements into executable verification plans, test procedures, and compliance matrices.
Coordinate and support laboratory, subsystem, and system-level test activities including pre-test planning and data review.
Investigate and resolve technical issues related to interference, grounding, shielding, cabling, and hardware implementation.
Perform EMC-Features related analysis, planning, and test preparation across the product lifecycle.
Interface with internal and external test organizations, suppliers, manufacturing, and customers regarding technical readiness and corrective actions.
Provide technical input for design reviews, risk assessments, root-cause investigations, and program planning efforts.
Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to standard work and process improvement.
What we're looking for
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework or concentration in electromagnetics, RF, signal integrity, or a related field (preferred).
Experience supporting system test, integration, verification, qualification, production, or sustainment activities for complex electronic, electrical, or communications systems (preferred).
Experience interpreting requirements and developing verification plans, test approaches, procedures, and reports (preferred).
