Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer, ELINT

What you'll do

• Perform system engineering activities across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and technical baseline management.
• Develop and manage system-level requirements, interface definitions, and ICDs with clear traceability to customer needs.
• Conduct trade studies, technical analyses, and performance assessments to support system design decisions and risk reduction.
• Maintain system and MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler to improve architecture definition and documentation.
• Plan and execute integration and test activities across laboratory, ground, and flight environments.
• Develop test plans and procedures for specialized equipment like anechoic chambers and spectrum analyzers.
• Lead technical work by mentoring junior engineers, identifying risks, and coordinating across cross-functional engineering disciplines.
• Contribute to technical planning, schedules, and formal design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field and 6 or more years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of prior related Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated systems engineering background across requirements, architecture, interface management, integration, verification, and technical reviews.
• Experience developing technical artifacts such as system specifications, ICDs, verification plans, and test procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work, coordinate across disciplines, mentor junior engineers, and communicate with customers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory, ground, and flight integration and test activities, including data analysis and discrepancy resolution.
