What you'll do

  • Develop embedded software for Infrared Camera product lines using C/C++ and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Write low-level software including drivers and Board Support Packages (BSPs).
  • Execute all phases of the software engineering lifecycle to meet technical, schedule, and cost goals.
  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing activities for software components.
  • Generate technical documentation to support software releases.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.
  • Support bid and proposal activities by providing cost and schedule estimations.
  • Improve processes, systems, or products to impact business and functional results.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • At least 2 years of experience using C/C++ to develop embedded software.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • At least 2 years of experience leading an engineering team.
  • At least 2 years of experience writing low-level software such as drivers and Board Support Packages (BSPs).
  • Experience with communication protocols, Python, hardware design, and version control systems (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
