Senior Specialist, Material Management

What you'll do

• Manage all supply chain activities from the proposal stage through program award and execution for complex programs.
• Develop financial forecasts and perform variance analysis to align material costs with earned value management requirements.
• Maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure timely procurement and inventory control.
• Lead the material bid process to accurately cost items and develop supply chain labor basis of estimates for proposals.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact to resolve issues regarding requirements, costs, and delivery schedules.
• Mentor and train junior staff on MRP functionalities, procurement processes, and operational procedures.
• Develop data-driven metrics and reports to monitor material management performance and supply chain health.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience or a Graduate degree with 4 years of experience in Material Management or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of total relevant professional experience in areas such as Supply Chain, Material Planning, MRP/MPS, or Production Planning.
• At least 7 years of experience using MRP systems software.
• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (pivot tables and V-lookups).
• Master Production Scheduling experience (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of FAR, MMAS, MAAR-13, and CAS (preferred).
• Experience in the US DOD manufacturing industry (preferred).
• Security clearance.
