What you'll do

  • Apply systems security engineering methods to the architecture, design, and integration of networks and systems.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Program Protection Plans to safeguard critical program information.
  • Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation using RMF standards and derivative processes.
  • Conduct threat assessments through attack/countermeasure analysis and vulnerability assessment activities.
  • Engineer trustworthy and secure systems in accordance with NIST 800-160 and NIST 800-53.
  • Draft Cybersecurity Strategies, Security Classification Guides, and System Security Engineering Plans.
  • Interact with customers to define security requirements, costs, implementation impacts, and effectiveness.
  • Support the evaluation, qualification, and testing of security architecture improvements and vulnerability responses.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a minimum of a Collateral Secret security clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD 8140 certification (or NIST 800-181) within 6 months of starting.
  • Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes is required.
  • Experience with Program Protection and System Security Engineering is required.
  • Experience with DOD 5200.39 for the identification and protection of Critical Program Information (CPI) is required.
  • Experience with RMF A&A on embedded systems (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
