Develop and document security plans including System Security Plans, Risk Management Framework documentation, and Plan of Action and Milestones.
Implement and assess security controls to ensure compliance with NIST, JSIG, and FIPS standards.
Perform systems engineering tasks such as creating data flow diagrams, interface control documents, and trade studies.
Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) for application security and STIG compliance using tools like Fortify or Coverity.
Manage security architectures for on-premises data centers and cloud environments including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
Execute vulnerability management and risk mitigation strategies across networks, hardware, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
Develop Configuration Management Plans and manage system security boundaries for new technology initiatives.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or no degree and 10 years of experience.
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
DoD 8140.03 IASAE Level 1 or 2 certification.
Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related publications including 800-37, 800-53, 800-171, CNNSI 1253, JSIG, and FIPS.
Ability to perform systems/software engineering functions including data flow diagrams, trade studies, and SAST for STIG compliance using Fortify or Coverity.
Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and configuration management plans.
Perform Model Based System Engineering (UML, SysML, UAF) (preferred).
