What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, and performance analysis for space systems.
Conduct trade studies, system design, and interface definition studies for various system elements.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures for space-based systems.
Execute systems integration, verification, and validation of hardware and software components.
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to manage requirements and model system behavior.
Lead the systems development life cycle while providing technical leadership to the engineering team.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Agile experience (preferred).
Experience with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/SySML/MagicDraw/Cameo (preferred).
Experience in Python (highly preferred).
Experience with SmallSats, CubeSats, hardware prototype development, or space payloads (preferred).
