What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety requirements.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, and performance analysis.
Conduct system design, trade studies, systems integration and test verification, and interface definition studies.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, functional, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architecture and overall system architecture.
Execute space payload design, development, and integration including environmental testing and hardware troubleshooting.
Manage test discrepancy processes including failure isolation, root cause analysis, and corrective action development.
Document and communicate anomaly status, technical findings, and risk assessments through formal review boards.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience.
Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
Python development for engineering analysis, automation, test, or data processing (preferred).
Experience in Space Payloads Design, Development, or I&T, including Environmental Testing (preferred).
Success leading the systems development life cycle with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools (preferred).
Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in negotiation (preferred).
