What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, and functional and performance analysis for system elements.
Conduct trade studies, systems integration, verification testing, and validation processes.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures.
Execute hardware and software troubleshooting including environmental testing like TVAC, vibe, and EMI/EMC.
Manage test discrepancies through data collection, failure isolation, root cause analysis, and corrective action development.
Document and communicate technical findings, risk assessments, and anomaly status to formal review boards.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
Python development for engineering analysis, automation, test, or data processing (preferred).
Familiarity with space radiation effects (preferred).
Experience in Space Payloads Design, Development, I&T, and Environmental Testing (preferred).
Familiarity with test discrepancy processes, including reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions (preferred).
Experience documenting technical findings and risk assessments for formal review boards (preferred).
