What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, and performance analysis for system elements.
Conduct trade studies, systems integration and test verification, and interface definition studies.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, functional, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures for space-based systems.
Implement digital signal processing algorithms for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements.
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to manage requirements and model system behavior.
Execute hardware prototype development, FlatSat integration, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testing.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Agile experience (preferred).
Experience with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SySML, MagicDraw, or Cameo (preferred).
Experience in Python (highly preferred).
Experience with SmallSats and CubeSats development (preferred).
