What you'll do

Design and architect scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies while communicating the business value of the platform.
Lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof of value exercises to win new deals.
Partner with sales teams to develop account plans, prioritize opportunities, and generate pipeline growth.
Proactively generate demand through self-driven technical initiatives and participation in industry events.
Advise customers on transforming legacy systems into modern, scalable technology stacks.
Provide technical feedback to the product team to drive innovation and improve MongoDB solutions.
Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay current on industry trends and technologies.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be based in Madrid for the hybrid working model.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Ideally 8 to 11 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting or popular programming languages like Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-premise is required.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical and business concepts to leadership are required.
Ability to travel up to 25% is required.
Experience with database programming, data engineering, AI/ML projects, or selling databases (preferred).
MongoDB or Cloud Provider certifications (preferred).
