What we're looking for
Master's degree in a related field and 1 year of software engineering experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-threaded, distributed software applications using Object Oriented Programming.
Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and Bash.
Experience building and deploying applications using container technology.
Experience building solutions on distributed databases and pub-sub messaging systems including Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, SQL S3, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ.
Experience analyzing distributed application logs, metrics, and heap dumps to improve efficiency and scalability.
Experience designing and implementing APIs using REST and RPC architecture.
Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot, and data movement systems like Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, and BigQuery.
