Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components and automation frameworks using Java and Spring.
• Build automated solutions for unit, functional, integration, API, UI, and end-to-end validation.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions focusing on scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards and improve code quality.
• Integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and Git.
• Support production readiness through logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and validate system behavior under heavy load.
• Apply secure coding practices and use vulnerability scanning tools to identify security risks.

What we're looking for

• 6–9 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development skills.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, software design principles, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience designing and developing automation frameworks, reusable test utilities, test harnesses, and engineering productivity tools.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, JUnit, Rest Assured, JBehave, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated checks into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Maven, or similar tools.
• Experience validating APIs, microservices, web services, web applications, databases, and integration flows.
• Working knowledge of performance engineering concepts, including load testing, bottleneck identification, and system behavior analysis.
• Experience with cloud-native applications, containers, Kubernetes, or platform engineering concepts (preferred).
