What you'll do

Identify risks and anticipate problems with feature teams to ensure releases do not negatively impact performance.
Analyze source code to identify performance bottlenecks and implement necessary improvements.
Design, configure, automate, and execute comprehensive performance tests.
Improve the performance environment through custom code, automation, and the onboarding of external tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
Develop backend applications in a Linux environment using C and/or C++ programming languages.
Create scripts in shell, TCL, Perl, or Python to automate manual tasks.
Monitor and troubleshoot system metrics including throughput, latency, memory, and CPU utilization.

What we're looking for

Proven experience developing backend applications in a Linux environment using C and/or C++ programming languages.
Deep knowledge of computer architecture including throughput, latency, memory, and CPU utilization for performance engineering.
Clear experience creating scripts to automate manual tasks using shell scripting, TCL, Perl, or Python.
Ability to design, configure, automate, and execute performance tests.
Ability to identify performance bottlenecks in code and implement improvements.
Experience working in an Agile environment (preferred).
Experience developing software in C/C++ (preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
