Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Apply data science and advanced algorithms to enhance search and browse functionalities.
• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for recommendation systems and search relevance.
• Build systems to collect, preprocess, and analyze real-time clickstream data.
• Engineer scalable, low-latency microservices for hosting and serving machine learning models in real-time.
• Optimize data pipelines for efficient ingestion, transformation, and normalization for batch and streaming processes.
• Design and implement automated systems for training, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
• Maintain, monitor, and alert production pipelines using SQL, Hive, and Spark.
• Design and validate large-scale A/B tests for new features and statistical models.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in a related field and 1 year of software engineering experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
• Experience designing and developing REST API web services for hosting machine learning models.
• Experience designing, implementing, and validating large scale A/B tests for new features.
• Experience designing and developing statistical models for query correction, exploration-exploitation, and regression analysis.
• Experience developing big data pipelines to gather, aggregate, and interpret data from websites.
• Experience establishing and managing databases for storing signal values computed from backend data pipelines.
• Experience designing and implementing automated systems for training, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
• Experience utilizing SQL, Hive, and Spark for coding scripts to interact with databases and big data storage systems.
