What you'll do

Design and maintain internal software platforms to support risk, compliance, legal, and operational workflows.
Translate complex business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into scalable technical solutions and user experiences.
Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and data workflows connecting internal systems with third-party platforms.
Design relational data models, authorization frameworks, audit capabilities, and background processing systems for secure operations.
Create technical designs, architectural documentation, and implementation plans to establish durable engineering patterns.
Contribute to high-level decisions regarding system architecture, build-versus-buy evaluations, and long-term platform scalability.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
4+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience designing, building, and operating production web applications for internal or external customers.
Experience designing relational database schemas and managing complex data models using PostgreSQL or similar systems.
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, integrations, webhooks, or distributed system interfaces.
Experience implementing application security fundamentals including authentication, RBAC, audit logging, and schema migrations.
Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Prisma, or similar modern web application frameworks (preferred).
Experience with internal tooling, workflow platforms, or regulated industries like banking and healthcare (preferred).
