What you'll do

Own vertical slices of the rendering platform by taking end-to-end responsibility for backend projects and distributed systems.
Deliver infrastructure improvements and features to customers through small, incremental updates.
Define, design, and own API contracts for both internal and external stakeholders.
Lead technical design decisions while prioritizing high availability, performance, and code quality.
Document services and communicate technical offerings to other teams within the company.
Mentor team members through constructive code reviews and guidance on complex backend architecture.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and proactively remove roadblocks in production environments.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 6 years of experience building robust, complex, and distributed web applications.
Deep expertise in backend development using modern technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with Kubernetes and messaging queues (preferred).
Strong analytical skills to translate product requirements into technical tasks and well-architected services.
Excellent communication skills in English to explain infrastructure work and company vision.
Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Helsinki office at least 3 days a week.
