What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain backend services and full-stack product capabilities for Meta Workspaces.
Build and maintain integrations with the Meta Marketing API to enable customer advertising workflows.
Develop high-volume systems that process large amounts of data while maintaining reliability and scalability.
Own features from initial product discovery and API design through implementation, testing, and rollout.
Improve the performance, observability, and reliability of services operating under heavy production loads.
Design robust APIs and service boundaries to support complex automation and workflow-driven products.
Explore and implement AI-enabled tools to improve engineering workflows and developer productivity.
Mentor other engineers and improve standards for testing, monitoring, and code quality.

What we're looking for

Experience building and shipping production software as a backend or full-stack engineer.
Professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
Practical experience with relational databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Experience designing, operating, and scaling production services with high reliability and performance requirements.
Ability to make technical decisions in ambiguous situations while balancing quality and maintainability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Curiosity regarding emerging AI capabilities and willingness to explore AI for product and workflow improvements.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup, including three days per week in the Helsinki office.
