What you'll do

Own TikTok product capabilities end-to-end from customer-facing interfaces to backend services and APIs.
Build high-quality user experiences for creating, managing, and automating advertising campaigns.
Design and operate distributed, data-intensive systems and services at scale.
Develop and evolve APIs and integrations connecting the platform with TikTok and other internal services.
Drive technical and architectural decisions to shape the long-term direction of the product.
Partner with product and design teams to identify customer problems and shape technical solutions.
Mentor other engineers and improve overall engineering quality and practices across the team.

What we're looking for

Experience building and operating production-grade applications across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, and React or similar technologies.
Experience taking product capabilities end-to-end from customer-facing experiences to backend services and APIs.
Experience designing distributed systems and working with asynchronous, event-driven architectures at scale.
Ability to build reliable systems and integrations that handle high volumes of data.
Ability to take ownership of complex problems and drive them from concept to production.
Strong collaboration skills to work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to shape solutions.
A pragmatic approach to balancing user experience, technical quality, customer needs, and speed.
Willingness to mentor other engineers and contribute to strong engineering practices.
