What you'll do

Research, test, and develop innovative new solutions to shape the future direction of Broadcom products.
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to verify that enterprise-level products meet functional and business requirements.
Design functional and non-functional tests to validate software quality and performance.
Develop automated test scripts to deliver high-quality software solutions within an agile scrum environment.
Participate in backlog and technical refinement reviews with other engineers.
Participate in test plan reviews to ensure alignment with project goals.
Roll in code changes into different environments including development and production LPARS.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Prior experience as an SDET (Functional Test Engineer) in a Scrum team.
Expertise in IBM Assembler on z/OS and z/OS Language Environment (LE).
Experience using Source Code Management tools such as Endevor and GitHub.
Experience working with z/OS systems components like ISPF, CICS, CLIST, REXX, and mainframe databases (preferred).
Working knowledge of SMP/E, ZOSMF, and JCL usage with PROCs (preferred).
Experience with LE with COBOL, PL/1, and C++ (preferred).
