What you'll do

Translate business requirements into high-quality, testable code that meets the Agile Definition of Done.
Participate in design and code reviews with other engineers to ensure software quality.
Contribute to all Agile activities including iteration planning, refinement, and sprint reviews.
Deliver assigned stories and tasks within the established sprint timelines.
Drive improvements in efficiency, security, and product quality through industry best practices.
Interact with customers for support issues, product demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
Develop and maintain high-quality Mainframe Database solutions for large-scale enterprise clients.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience or a Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience.
Experience in Agile Software Development.
Knowledge of Source Code Controls such as Endevor and Github.
Solid knowledge of z/OS, Unix/USS, SMP/E, z/OSMF, Endevor, reading system dumps, TSO/ISPF (preferred).
Experience in one or more of the following: IBM Assembler, Metal C, COBOL, ISPF, REXX, and JCL (preferred).
Knowledge and product expertise in Test Automation, Jenkins, Python, or CI/CD Automation (preferred).
Exposure to designing and building RESTful APIs (preferred).
Expertise in Java, C/C++, relational databases, Jira, Rally, or Cyber Security topics (preferred).
