As a Senior Software Engineer on the Build Orchestration Team, you will develop and evolve distributed systems that manage the lifecycle of Windows builds. You will be responsible for designing services that schedule, prioritize, and execute builds across hundreds of branches while managing continuous integration validation for the codebase. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience (preferred).
Experience operating production services with on-call responsibility, incident response, and SLO-driven reliability work (preferred).
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD automation, and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure (preferred).
Experience with build systems, distributed execution, caching, and large-scale telemetry or query systems like Kusto/KQL (preferred).
Proven track record of delivering large-scale distributed systems and improving engineering productivity for large organizations (preferred).
