What you'll do

Design and implement multi-layered distributed systems to deliver reliable software solutions at scale.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering problems involving distributed services and APIs.
Oversee service performance, scalability, and event planning requirements for content delivery platforms.
Enforce development practices and processes to ensure high-quality code and design specifications.
Conduct code reviews to ensure products meet technical and design standards.
Research and integrate new technologies into the existing software ecosystem.
Build and manage a suite of services supporting media supply chain and distribution.

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Proficiency in at least one core programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience working with microservices and REST APIs.
Familiarity with AWS and its core services including S3, Lambda, and EC2.
Experience with at least one database system such as SQL, MongoDB, or OpenSearch.
Experience with messaging technology such as Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of software development best practices, data structures, algorithms, and full lifecycle application development.
A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
