What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable content workflows and data pipelines for media-centric processes.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code to build reliable software solutions for the Wonderland platform.
  • Build robust, extensible services using Node.js and TypeScript to automate content workflows at scale.
  • Manage media transformations, video processing, and media security protocols.
  • Optimize production systems to ensure platform stability, performance, and uptime.
  • Develop internal capabilities to reduce reliance on external vendors and lower operational costs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the engineering team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency building backend services with Node.js (TypeScript preferred).
  • Experience working with REST APIs for building and consuming web services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and core services such as S3, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Experience with build and deployment technologies including Docker, Gitlab-CI, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with various data store technologies including MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with event streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka.
  • Exposure to large scale production systems with complex backends in Node.js (preferred).
  • Experience working with media centric workflows and systems like ffmpeg or mediainfo (preferred).
  • Experience with event based processing for asynchronous workflow management (preferred).
  • Exposure to integrating AI driven solutions into production systems (preferred).
  • Previous work experience in media or entertainment technology, particularly in content distribution and media supply chain (preferred).
