As a Senior Product Software Engineer on the Content Platform Engineering team, you will build and enhance platform capabilities to support a suite of media services. You will work with Java, Python, or C/C++, utilizing REST APIs, GraphQL, and AWS services like S3, Lambda, and EC2. Your toolkit includes Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab-CI, Jenkins, and various data stores such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, and DynamoDB. You will solve complex technical problems within the media supply chain to support global distribution and monetization of linear networks and theatrical content.

What you'll do

Design, write, test, and deploy high-quality code to develop reliable and maintainable software solutions.
Build scalable content workflows, data pipelines, and platform services for media-centric operations.

Create robust, extensible services using cloud infrastructure to drive autonomous content workflows at scale.
Monitor and optimize production systems to ensure platform stability, performance, and uptime.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Develop internal capabilities to reduce reliance on external vendors and lower operational costs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Proficiency in at least one core programming language such as Java, Python, or C/C++.
Experience building and consuming web services using REST APIs or GraphQL.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and its core services including S3, Lambda, and EC2.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with build and deployment tools including GitLab-CI, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Jenkins.
Experience with various data store technologies including MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
