What you'll do

Build and maintain secure, scalable backend systems and APIs using Java, Python, or similar languages.
Develop features for the Access pillar, including login experiences and unauthorized activity detection.
Write secure, testable, and maintainable code that follows software engineering best practices.
Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Lead projects and mentor junior engineers while participating in team design and scoping discussions.
Perform code reviews and support ticket reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Resolve root causes of complex technical problems to improve system stability and maintainability.
Estimate tasks accurately and deliver software enhancements on schedule to meet customer needs.

What we're looking for

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field (preferred).
4+ years of relevant work experience (preferred).
Strong experience writing distributed, highly scalable, and available backend systems and APIs using Java or Python.
Experience with full stacks, single-page applications, and/or micro frontends.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, preferably AWS.
Understanding of DevOps concepts such as containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog.
Expertise with testing concepts, test tools, and integrating best practices in the SDLC.
