What you'll do

Build performant frontend experiences using TypeScript and React with a focus on accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services on cloud-native architectures to support millions of users.
Develop micro frontend components with framework-agnostic deployment across multiple platforms and applications.
Architect and optimize end-to-end data flows from database design through API contracts to frontend state management.
Use AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate feature delivery and improve code quality.
Optimize application performance through code splitting, caching, database query optimization, and API efficiency.
Mentor team members through code reviews, architectural guidance, and dedicated learning sessions.
Own the technical quality of attendee-facing platforms by partnering with designers and product managers.

What we're looking for

7+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack capabilities in production environments.
Proven experience leveraging AI-powered development tools like Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js with modern JavaScript and responsive web design.
Development expertise in API design (RESTful and GraphQL), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, and API Gateway.
Experience building component libraries, design systems, and micro frontend architectures.
Strong understanding of web performance optimization, security best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Splunk or New Relic.
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and lead complex projects with strong cross-functional communication skills.
