The Senior, Software Engineer joins the Last Mile Delivery team to support Grocery and Same Day Delivery propositions. What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering (preferred).
Expert level knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, large scale distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
Extensive understanding of microservice architecture, performance tuning, and multithreading best practices.
Experience with advanced SQL queries, public cloud services, and real-time data processing pipelines.
Experience with Agile iterative CI/CD development environments and Agile methodology.
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
